X ! (un opéra fantastique) is a solo performance for one singer and an artificial intelligence. Together, in a set which opens in perspectives on a virtual world, they re-visit with algorithms a witty memory of classical opera.
Their arias sound familiar and the landscapes that surround them are as epic as those of an heroic-fantasy video game.
They are nevertheless singing a simple story, the one of Gérald, a genderfluid songwriter, whose unresolved past causes to meet a community of sisters sheltered in an abandoned hotel to heal themselves from the damages of advanced capitalism.
